sweet victory on my jink hole
The victory was both thrilling and sweet because it happened on that final jink hole. Or was it a stroke of luck really on reflection. RGS don't normally have a melt down particularly with that heavy putter but that was the story of the weekend and boy am I glad to be the victor instead of the victim. JBBO you have picked the wrong match to have RGS alone to fight for your team.this time you have to wait a little longer for a return match and when that is done JSAP will also be ready. To JBRick I can only say that JSAP will be ready anytime.

What can I say! Your decision to change from wood 7 to wood 5 for your second shot on the last hole proved to be spot-on. Why not! Your shot just rest nicely above the pin, making it easy for you, just the putter to do the job. IF the shot had gone longer where you need to chip or pitch, the story COULD have been different.
ReplyDeleteI would not say that I've pick up the wrong match to have RGS to fight alone. I guessed luck was not on our side this time. RGS had been playing quite steady but luck was not on our side. We've learned a bitter lesson this time and would definitely come back with a vengeance. Ha ha ha ha ho ho ho he he he Phuh!
JBBO,
ReplyDeletesorry for the flop but then again, i don't fancy to get par on the last hole as the hole has proven to be tough hole if my Tee-off is off!
That aside, if JS par the hole which he did congrats to him and his team. Its sad but true that the game was decided by one final hole. Great fight though.
